Managed to recover by this weekend, M's parents came over on Friday and looked after Fidget on Friday night, I went down to M's sister's (Maz) hen do in Dorset. I turned in for an early night, ready for the next day. On Saturday we went out for a walk, there were 10 of us and over the weekend most of them got to realise that I was pregnant (pretty difficult to hide it and make up excuses). We started at a pub for lunch, unfortunately it was a bit of a gastro pub so everything on the menu was fussy and complicated, there was nothing I could stomach, so I had to have just chips! Our walk was about 6 miles circular route, normally I would have found it a very pleasant walk, pretty flat, only a few slopes, but being pregnant, with all my muscles all stretchy and tired I soon fell to the back and really struggled on the inclines. Towards the end my hips really started to hurt, I should have stopped but I didn't I just kept on walking. The last stretch was over Badbury rings, which was the most challenging slope, but there was a great sunset.

In the evening, two of Maz's freinds made us a 4 course meal. I couldn't eat the starter but to my surprise and delight I ate all the main (chicken, rice, broccoli & carrot) and my pudding (home made cheesecake with berries). I managed to stay up till half 12 but was absolutely knackered from the walk, as I went to bed I was very worried about my hips as I could hardly walk and it took ages to get up the stairs, but they felt much better by the morning.

On Sunday I drove home to find M home from China, it was great to see him.

I tried on my dress I had bought for Marian's wedding, it is quite fitted so I had been thinking it wouldn't fit, but worryingly it is much looser than when I bought it in the new year sales. I must have lost a fair bit of weight. I tried to weigh myself but the batteries have gone in the scales. I will get it sorted to go along with the 8 week photo.

I feel my appetite is better now, I am still quite restricted but I have just finished a spaggeti bol' made to some fairly specific instructions, but it did go down which is great, so hopefully things are on the up.
