Went for the 12 week dating scan tonight. Thanks to Helen from work for sitting for Fidget.

It was really quiet at the ante natal unit and we were straight in. At first she moved the scanner around and I couldn't see anything and I had that horrible feeling there would be nothing there. but then a little head and a spine could be seen, and little legs and hands.

He kept hiccuping and jumping about, you could see a little heartbeat it was so cool, i did find it very emotional and really for the first time started to think about this new baby being real. I think he looks like a he, but that is not based on anything!!

Fortunately there is only one little cheeker in there, no twins, triplets etc.

My due date is now 5th October, and I am supposedly 12 weeks and 2 days not 6 days. But to be honest the method she had for measuring and getting the date didn't seem to be that accurate to me.
